Anna is a motivated linguist who speaks 6 languages. She learnt Catalan by accident in 2014 when visiting Solsona and discovered more natural play-based ways of learning after having learnt other languages in more rigid workbook-based environments. In 2020, she founded English amb l’Anna, an English school that promotes learning through play, art, projects, drama and more. 

Hollie is a trained primary school teacher from the UK with a love for board games and travel. After struggling to learn languages in school herself, she discovered how much more effective, and fun, it can be through games and creativity. Hollie joined English amb l’Anna in 2024 and after a year working together, Lexigo was born in 2025 when they decided to do something about all the families and students who were asking for advice on what to buy or do to help learn English.

Our games were created by us at our language school in Solsona, Catalonia, and our students loved them so much that we decided to manufacture them to make them available to more learners.
